We are now looking for a Tax Manager  
 

Billerud Group is a global leader in high performance paper and packaging materials with operations in 20+ countries and customers in more than 100 countries. Thanks to our industry know-how and production expertise we are able to develop sustainable packaging materials without compromising on product performance or cost. As part of the global tax team, you will work with direct taxes all around the world. The global tax teams focus is to be business oriented with high level of business integration and to work with tax technology and processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance. The finance organization is undergoing a transformation journey and thereby the ways of working for the future. The tax processes play a major part in this, and you will be part of setting the strategies and process.

 
Your main tasks will be: 

• Working with Swedish and international corporate tax questions.
• Manage the group’s tax reporting process, quarterly and at year end, including ETR analysis.
• Project manage the Group’s work with BEPS 2.0, including Pilar I and Pilar II.
• Work closely with Head of Tax on setting the tax requirements in the ERP implementation project.
• Forecasting and analyzing cash flow from a tax perspective.
• Lead tax projects within the group independently.
• Project manage acquisitions, valuations and restructurings from a tax perspective.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

• You hold a university degree in law and/or finance.
• At least five years’ of experience from an MNE and/or audit firm.
• Experience in tax accounting and consolidation process.
• Strong knowledge in Excel and preferably other BI systems.
• Strong interest in tax technology and process improvements.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

To succeed with this, we believe you possess strong people management skills and can adapt to the audience as you will have to build relationships and interact with various stakeholder within the group. As a business partner you must have a strong sense of responsibility and highly value accuracy to build and maintain trust within the organization.

 

As we are setting our ways of working for the future, you must be process oriented, being able to see the details as well as the overall picture. You must also be analytical to be able to process significant amounts of data to be able to understand, structure and maintain the tax processes. You are independent and prepared to build your own platform within the Global tax team and Billerud Group to be able to maximize your expertise and create value for the group.
