We are now looking for a Development Engineer in Product Development Paper 

 

You will be part of our product development team with the purpose to develop new or improved Paper products. The team consists of Project Managers, Development Engineers and a coating lab manager, and we are now located in Skärblacka and Karlsborg. This position can be placed in any of these two locations.

As a Development Engineer you will contribute to development projects and play an active role in the business area Paper for developing new packaging materials.

Your main tasks will be:

• Plan and lead and evaluate lab and pilot trials
• Perform practical lab work
• Plan, perform and evaluate trials on paper/board machines
• Work in development projects.
• Lead and conduct technical investigations.
• Evaluate new technical solutions or materials.
• Analyse machine or lab data in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations for the next step.
• Write technical reports and present results.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

• Master of Science or corresponding education or relevant work experience.
• Experience from working in technology-oriented projects, preferable within product development.
• Good communication skills, verbal and in writing, in Swedish and English
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience about paper products and production and /or about coating technique and possibly barrier coatings.
