Power Analyst (Wisconsin Rapids, WI)
Job description
The Power Analyst will play a key role in leading the procurement, work order management, regulatory reporting, and administrative tasks within the hydroelectric generation and maintenance operations. This position will ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services related to hydroelectric equipment, distribution, and electrical maintenance, while securing the best value and maintaining service quality. The Power Analyst will also handle reporting, assist with routine and miscellaneous business operations, and provide direct support to maintenance teams to ensure seamless operational activities.
Qualifications
- Site procurement lead for sourcing and purchasing functions of goods and services in a cost-effective, timely manner and in alignment with Corporate Procurement Policy
- Primary gatekeeper to CMMS system with responsibilities including work order entry, backlog management and administer the preventative maintenance workload.
- Administrative support to include customer billing, data analysis, capital req management, etc.
- Acting as the accounts payable lead, will facilitate the process of obtaining required documentation to initiate vendor payment, process invoices, review vendor statements and provide vendor remittance information
- Manage GRIR, compile month-end accruals, generate monthly invoices and complete inventory cycle counts and participate in the annual budgeting process
- Complete annual sustainability reporting and ensure facility permitting compliance
- Support and participate in safety improvement efforts and promote the safety and health of all team members. Complete monthly and annual safety reporting requirements
Personal qualities
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in the utility industry is preferred.
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including SAP, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Must be detailed orientated and have the ability to use good judgement and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to investigate and resolve issues.
- Ability to collaborate with all team members.
- Ability to interact with multiple departments and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work with independently and meet necessary deadlines.
