We are now looking for a Solution Architect SAP to join our team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal staff, project teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation and integration of our SAP solutions.

You will be part of our newly started Global Shared Application Team with the purpose to maintain and deliver Applications used globally in Billerud Europe and Billerud North America.

As a Solution architect you will be overall responsible for our SAP solutions within your specific SAP area, for example Warehouse, Production, Procurement, Finance etc working in close collaboration with business and our external SAP implementation partner.  

Your main tasks will be:

  • Collaborating with internal staff, project teams, and external vendors to understand business requirements and processes, including dependencies across various domains.
  • Comprehending the information architecture and ensuring it aligns with business needs.
  • Adhering to the company's architecture principles for the target solution architecture, raising and deciding on any deviations according to the governance model.
  • Ensuring the target solution supports multiple regions and business units.
  • Documenting the target solution architecture in line with given standards.
  • Understanding the current system landscape and integrations to support our transition.
  • Evaluating and implementing features from SAP's latest releases, including “Feature Pack Stack” (FPS) for RISE in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Understanding the entire solution end-to-end, including high-level business processes and their integration with SAP technology.
  • Working as an SAP expert, understanding SAP processes end-to-end and how modules fit together.
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Architects, Business Process Leads, and various SAP Analysts and Subject Matter Experts.

This role is based at one of our offices/production units - Solna, Gävle, Frövi, Karlsborg, Gruvön or Skärblacka. The role will require some travelling within Sweden.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Expert knowledge in SAP, especially SAP S/4HANA MM, IM, and EWM.
  • Solid experience of SAP implementations, including 2+ full-cycle projects.
  • Strong SAP project and Application Maintenance Management experience, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
  • Experience with both custom-built and ERP systems, and a strong understanding of their integration challenges.
  • 10+ years of implementing SAP.
  • Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2 full cycle SAP Implementations.
  • Proficiency in logistics processes and integration with procurement, manufacturing, and maintenance.
  • Cross-module expertise to design end-to-end solutions.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Meritorious: SAP certifications (S/4HANA SD, MM, EWM) and knowledge of MES systems.
