Are you ready to take on a key role in a stable yet evolving industry? We are seeking a proactive and skilled SAP Application Manager to join our team at Billerud.


Billerud has recently launched a group-wide program that will modernize and harmonize our working methods, which includes introducing a new ERP system. As our SAP Application Manager, known internally as Service Manager, you will be crucial for ensuring that our third-party vendor meets the required standards.



In this role, you will manage, develop, and govern the IT Maintenance support within the SAP area. You will establish and maintain active and open communication with other IT departments and requesters to ensure that delivery meets agreed needs. Reporting status, deviations, and cost follow-up to the IT object owner and steering group is also a key responsibility. You will plan, coordinate, and follow up on delivery within the area, ensuring successful delivery levels and SLAs. Additionally, you will actively work to introduce new functionality and technology within the maintenance area that adds value to Billerud.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage, develop, and govern the IT Maintenance support within the SAP area.
  • Managing the IT delivery within the SAP maintenance area, acting as the operative team lead for Solution and Technical Architects, and collaborating closely with internal staff and external partners
  • Ensuring successful support and delivery for the Billerud’s offshore SAP Application Maintenance support with external partner
  • Establish and maintain active and open communication with other IT departments and requesters to ensure delivery meets agreed needs.
  • Report status, deviations, and cost follow-up to the IT object owner and steering group.
  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on delivery within the area, ensuring successful delivery levels and SLAs.
  • Actively work to introduce new functionality and technology within the maintenance area that adds value to Billerud.
  • Prepare, plan, and manage the IT budget for the Maintenance area, ensuring improvements stay within the agreed budget.
  • Take on the role of project manager when needed.
  • Document and report all changes within the area.
  • Travel in the service occurs.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • Documented IT education at Universitet level, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP solutions
  • Strong leadership skills, with a background as a manager or an operative team lead
  • Experience in leading and working with an Offshore Application Maintenance (AM) team
  • Skilled at communicating and building relationships
  • Experience in budget and financial follow-up.
  • Proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions, processes, procedures, and controls, particularly in SAP Solutions.
  • Good knowledge of the paper industry and production-related IT functions is a merit.
  • Professional in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and frameworks.

 

You will be based at any of our sites in Sweden such as Gävle, Gruvön, Frövi, Skärblacka, Karlsborg or Stockholm, Solna. Travels to our headquarter in Solna will occur.

 

We don’t offer relocation packages and a Swedish work permit is requested for this position.
