Are you ready to take on a key role in a stable yet evolving industry? Billerud has recently launched a group-wide program that will modernize and harmonize our working methods, which includes introducing a new ERP system. As our SAP Technical Architect, you will bring expert knowledge in SAP RISE, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and cloud technologies and ensuring that the systems are secure, compliant and integrated with other enterprise applications.
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Architect to join our Global IT Shared Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall SAP architecture and technical solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives. This role involves managing all technical aspects of SAP modules and overseeing the deployment and integration of SAP solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain the overall SAP system architecture.
- Guide teams through technical challenges and ensure best practices are followed.
- Oversee the deployment of SAP solutions, including configuration and integration with other systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with internal staff, project teams, and external vendors.
- Investigate the feasibility of integrations and work closely with the Application Manager.
- Document the solution architecture in line with given standards.
- Understand the current system landscape and integrations to support our transition.
- Provide expertise and context for Billerud's SAP solutions.
- Travel is required for the role.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role of SAP Technical Architect, we believe you have:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Expert knowledge in SAP, especially SAP RISE, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure.
- Solid experience with SAP implementations and technical proficiency with at least 2 full cycle SAP implementations.
- Knowledge of SAP security concepts, user roles, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in integrating SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate effectively.
- Mastery of English, both spoken and written.
You will be based at any of our sites in Sweden such as Gävle, Gruvön, Frövi, Skärblacka, Karlsborg or Stockholm, Solna. Travels to our headquarter in Solna will occur.
We don’t offer relocation packages, and a Swedish work permit is requested for this position.

Effective communication is key for you, as you explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate with internal staff, project teams, and external vendors. Adaptability is important to you, as you are comfortable working in a global environment and able to adapt to different cultures and work styles.
