We are now looking for a Manager Global IT Enterprise Portfolio and PMO

Are you passionate about driving strategic IT projects and optimizing portfolio management? We are looking for an Manager Global IT Enterprise Portfolio and PMO to lead and enhance our IT project portfolio across Billerud Europe and North America. In this key role, you will ensure projects align with business objectives and optimize project management practices across the organization.

You be responsible for managing project pipeline demand, project governance, approvals, and status reviews. Additionally, you will oversee a small team and lead both internal and external project managers, ensuring that processes are continuously improved, simplified, effectively communicated, and well understood across the enterprise. As a key driver of change management, you will ensure that portfolio management and project delivery processes are adopted and followed throughout the organization.

 

You will be part of our newly created Global IT Governance organisation and report to the Director Global IT Governance. This role is located in Solna, Stockholm Sweden and requires some travel (5–10%) within Europe and North America.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise portfolio management, project management, or governance – preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Deep expertise in IT portfolio and project management best practices.
  • Strong track record in overseeing large, complex IT project portfolios.
  • Solid experience in business project development, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business case analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing IT solutions.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience with change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, PPS, ITIL, PM3 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
