Paulina Ekvall from BillerudKorsnäs named HR Director Emeritus of the Year 2017
At yesterday’s Universum Talent Excellence Summit & Awards event, Paulina Ekvall, Senior Vice President, Corporate Human Resources at BillerudKorsnäs was awarded the prestigious title of “HR Director Emeritus of the Year 2017”.
The employer branding agency Universum held its annual Talent Excellence Summit & Awards function on 4 October 2017. The intention behind the event is to recognise people and organisations that have played a prominent role in employer branding towards young professionals over the past year.
Paulina Ekvall, Senior Vice President, Corporate Human Resources at BillerudKorsnäs, was singled out for special mention and presented with the title of HR Director Emeritus of the Year. The award is presented to a committed person who, drawing on extensive, far-reaching experience, has made a noteworthy contribution to employer branding issues, and who has succeeded in raising the profile of – and involvement with – issues in the field of HR, the management team and the company in general.
Employer branding is one of my favourite areas, and it’s an issue of the greatest importance to us at BillerudKorsnäs. So it’s a real pat on the back to receive recognition of this calibre. We’ll continue to develop our input in the field of employer branding to help us stay ahead of the pack in maintaining our workforce and attracting colleagues keen to join us on our journey to challenge conventional packaging for a sustainable future

BillerudKorsnäs was also nominated in the “Employer Branding Company of the Year” category, where the title is presented to the enterprise which, over the past year, has succeeded in attracting large groups of students and academics starting out on their careers. BillerudKorsnäs was awarded an extremely creditable joint second place in the category this year.
