BillerudKorsnäs and Syntegon Technology (former Bosch Packaging Technology) have strengthened the collaboration in the creation of sustainable, paper-based packaging solutions. Here we present the concept Grow. It is the first generation of a sustainable shaped paper pod made from FSC-certified FibreForm® paper.
The tactile experience of the packaging, along with its unique embossing and shape, makes you feel that you are truly part of the growth of something new. How about a shaped paper pod that is just the right size? Not a sample, that would inherently be free and just good for one use, and not full-sized and destined to go to waste? Just the right size, shape and feel for your product.
With the unique properties of the BillerudKorsnäs FibreForm® paper and the extensive packaging production knowledge of Syntegon Technology, it was clear we would make a good combination. FibreForm® from BillerudKorsnäs is a natural paper with patented 3D-forming capabilities. The material can be decorated with high impact print graphics and foil stamping, and customized barriers and coatings can be applied.
While the name of this concept, “Grow”, signals both our increasing technical knowledge, new opportunities created and new collaborations, it also has a deeper meaning.
